With some interest in crossfit and my other half having a great interest in it, we decided we needed a twenty pound medicine ball for wall balls and other crazy, tortuous exercises. I didn’t want to pay an arm and a leg for one though. After a google search I found several ways to make a medicine ball from a basketball by filling it with sand.

The Army is planning to change its physical fitness test (PFT) some time after 2011. The Army PFT has not been modified since 1980. Army Times has an article here with some history of the Army’s PFT.
